Starkville Voices Community Luncheon to Bring Community and Leaders Together

Starkville Voices is inviting community members, business representatives, nonprofit leaders, and other local stakeholders to join us for the Starkville Voices Community Luncheon on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at The Gathering in Starkville.

The luncheon will provide an opportunity to learn more about Starkville Voices, our mission, the work we have accomplished, and where the organization is headed next.

Since its creation, Starkville Voices has worked to make civic information, community conversations, public forums, and opportunities for engagement more accessible throughout Starkville. Our organization is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to informing, empowering, and engaging the community.

What Attendees Can Expect

During the luncheon, attendees will hear more about the vision behind Starkville Voices and several of the initiatives we are developing and expanding.

We will discuss our work in areas including civic education, Community Conversations, candidate forums, community events, youth leadership development, volunteer engagement, and partnerships with businesses and organizations.

Most importantly, the luncheon gives us an opportunity to connect directly with people who care about the future of Starkville and Oktibbeha County.

Starkville Voices was created around a simple belief: communities are stronger when people have access to information and meaningful opportunities to participate.

Building Partnerships

Our work cannot happen in isolation.

Businesses, nonprofit organizations, community leaders, volunteers, sponsors, and everyday community members all have a role in building a more informed and engaged community.

The Community Luncheon is an opportunity to learn how Starkville Voices can work alongside others throughout Starkville and Oktibbeha County.

Whether you have followed Starkville Voices from the beginning or are hearing about us for the first time, we invite you to join us.
